seanblr: thanks for posting about the HQ to do app. Really liking it so far, much better than Epic Win in terms of organization.
no problem! i’m glad you like it too. Epic Win looks fun but it seems that you can get sidetracked with the game than actually getting things done.
My Professional Studies teacher had us take this test and I was surprised to see how accurate the results were. There will be some part of the result that might not seem apparent to you but others my see what you can’t.
I am an ENFP. What are you?
Oh yeah and be honest with your answers. Answer according to what you do or believe and not what you think you should do. The results will be more accurate.
iamnomes: Btw, I'm not the biggest fan of Archer. Slab serifs, yes. Martha Stewart Living? Erm...
yeaaaah i know Martha Stewart font…but it’s a nice one! IMO at least :\ Does liking Akzidenz Grotesk make up for it? lulz
HQ: To Do
This is a blog post of the LCAD Graphic Design blog I run. See more here.
It’s been a long time coming but I finally got an iPhone. For years I envied my friends who had them. I got the taste of the good life and I can’t go back.
One of the best things about it is how productive it can be, but the opposite is just as possible. But lets look at one app that has got me excited about school and being productive. Also I am sorry that this is only relevant to those with iPhones (sorry Dan, one day buddy).
HQ: To Do: by Sleeping Giant

Perhaps the best ‘to do’ list out there. This app strikes all the right designer chords in my heart. Just look at that UI and condensed san serif typeface! OK, now lets look at the features. Despite costing a few bucks I feels that it is a great investment in your college career. This is especially useful in that I allows you to have a project that requires several tasks. You can set notification, deadlines, and perhaps the coolest feature in my opinion is the the pie graph of the percentage complete. Tasks can be color coded, arranged according to due date and other times, and you can even have notes for each task.
If you have an iPhone and have a few bucks to spare, I say get it. It’ll help plan and manage your projects especially for those scatter brained like me.
